Does anyone else see that women should be concerned about political and social issues, not just how they can emulate looking and living like someone above their personal financial means?

No, I find living like the 1% much more worthwhile than awareness of social or political issues. I was a poli-sci major and a soc minor currently working on my JD and financial strategies and money saving tricks affect us more in our daily lives!

It may affect us more in our daily lives, but social and political issues are the fabric of society, and impact many, if not all, of our daily lives as well (often in many ways)!
